Yes. We stand behind every project with a best-in-class workmanship warranty in addition to the manufacturer warranties on the products we install. Our goal is to give you lasting confidence in your investment and the quality of our work.
Communication is a priority at O.C. Taylor. You’ll receive email confirmations throughout your project, including your consultation appointment and product order updates. Once your materials arrive at our warehouse, our Production Manager will contact you to schedule installation at a time that’s convenient for you. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

Project timelines vary based on the scope of work, weather conditions, and product availability. During your consultation, we’ll provide a projected schedule and keep you informed every step of the way. Most full exterior remodeling projects are completed within approximately two weeks from the project start date. Smaller repair projects can often be completed in as little as one day. Our goal is to deliver quality craftsmanship while minimizing disruption to your daily routine.
In most cases, no. Homeowners can remain in their homes while siding, roofing, window, or door work is being completed.
Yes. When permits are required, O.C. Taylor handles the permitting process and coordinates inspections as needed.
To help your project run smoothly, we recommend moving vehicles away from the work area, removing fragile wall decorations or valuables nearby and securing outdoor furniture, potted plants and other items around your home. For roofing projects, please mow your lawn before installation to help with nail recovery during cleanup. Our team will review any additional preparation steps before work begins.

Siding

Signs include cracking, warping, soft spots, rot, fading, improper installation, and evidence of moisture intrusion. During your consultation, we’ll help determine whether repair or replacement is the best long-term solution.
The best siding for your home depends on its architectural style, your budget, your maintenance preferences, and your long-term goals. At O.C. Taylor, we install a variety of high-quality siding materials from trusted manufacturers, including vinyl, fiber cement, engineered wood and other premium options. Our experienced team will help you compare the benefits of each material—including durability, appearance, maintenance requirements, and energy efficiency—to find the best solution for your home and the North Carolina climate.
Yes. New siding, combined with proper house wrap and insulation improvements, can help reduce drafts and improve overall energy performance.
Yes. If hidden damage is discovered after old siding is removed, we’ll document the issue, discuss repair options and make sure the structure is properly restored before new siding is installed.

Roofing

Common signs include missing shingles, recurring leaks, storm damage, deteriorated sheathing, excessive granule loss, curling shingles and roofs nearing the end of their expected lifespan.
Yes. O.C. Taylor can inspect storm damage, provide a detailed repair estimate and help guide you through the insurance claims process. As a trusted local North Carolina contractor, we provide the documentation, expertise and quality workmanship needed to restore your home with confidence.
Many residential roof replacements can be completed in a day, although larger or more complex projects may require additional time.

Windows & Doors

Energy-efficient replacement windows can help reduce heating and cooling costs while improving indoor comfort.
Replacement windows fit into your home’s existing window frame, making them a more efficient option when the frame is in good condition. New-construction windows require removal of the existing window, trim, and surrounding materials, making them better suited for new builds, major renovations, or damaged frames. Our team will evaluate your home and recommend the best option for your needs.
High-quality replacement windows typically carry a lifetime warranty by the manufacturer when properly installed and maintained.
Not necessarily. Some homeowners choose a phased approach based on budget, while others replace all windows simultaneously for maximum efficiency and consistency.

Gutters & Water Management

Properly functioning gutters help direct water away from your roof, siding, foundation, and landscaping, reducing the risk of costly moisture damage.
Gutter protection systems help reduce debris buildup and maintenance while improving water flow during storms.

Cost & Financing

Yes. Financing options are available to help homeowners complete projects without delaying needed improvements.
Absolutely. Consultations and estimates are designed to help you make an informed decision with no obligation.
Project size, material selection, labor requirements, structural repairs, and custom design features all influence final pricing.
